The King Edward VI School are excited to announce the launch of our 2021 expedition to Nepal, in partnership with World Challenge, for our current Year 10 and 11 students.

The King Edward VI School and World Challenge have been giving students the opportunity to find their place in the world for more than 10 years. Travelling to Tanzania, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Thailand and Madagascar. These expeditions inspire leadership, independence and resilience; encouraging students to become true life-learners and global citizens through this experiential learning.

National Vase Cup

The King Edward VI School Year 10 Rugby team defeated Ullswater College today in round 4 of the National Vase Cup 24-17.

A fantastic result which now sets up an exciting last 16 round tie v St Edwards College, Liverpool the week commencing Monday 13th January.

ESAA National Cross Country Championships

 

On Saturday 7th December, a team of Cross Country athletes travelled down to Mount St Mary’s College in Derbyshire to compete in the ESAA National Cross Country Championships. Matthew Walton, Joe Dixon, Ryan Davies, Bertie Marr, Liam Roche and William De Vere Owen represented the school and were up against 26 other teams from different regions around the country. The intermediate boys team ran across 4350m of difficult terrain to secure 6th place overall. The boys were a credit to the school and put in an epic performance on the day.
