After leaving KEVI in 2010 I went to the University of Reading to study Meteorology and Climate. After the best 3 years of my life there I graduated with a 2:1 and got a job with MeteoGroup as a forecaster for offshore weather from Aberdeen. I get to spend a lot of time in the Netherlands as part of my job, which is cool if you like the Netherlands.
My advice would be to study things that already interest you and don’t be afraid to travel. A Levels are the most important exams you’ll ever do because they decide where you go to Uni and Uni will completely influence your life like nothing else. Don’t be scared of it though, or scared of the debt, everyone else is in the same boat. Enjoy sixth form and remember the friends you have now aren’t replaceable and you’ll have them forever. Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.
