Trip to Durham Light Infantry

6Year 9 paid a visit to the Durham Light Infantry. Find out what they thought…

The History visit to the Durham Light Infantry Museum was very beneficial, educational and ‘great banta’ (Kelland Nellis).

The trip started off with a short bus journey to Durham. Once we arrived, we were taken to a room filled with personal information on past members of the DLI. We were given their names and after half an hour of detailed research, we were instructed to present their personal stories to the rest of the group.

Open Evening

Open eveningOn Thursday 2nd October we are hosting an open evening for the parents of prospective students.

This will give you a chance to visit our school and meet staff and students from 4:30pm – 7pm.

There will also be talks by the Executive Headteacher, Simon Taylor and Head of School, Mark Simpson at 5pm, and repeated at 6pm.
