Football Champions!

The Under-15 boys football team were crowned champions of the Northumberland U15 league on Thursday the 23 April.

Goals from Will Pritchard (2), Harvey Colledge (1) Callaghan (1) and a hat-trick from Jack Butler ensured that KEVI ended up comfortable winners against a strong Ponteland side. The final score was 7-2.

Well done to everyone who took part.

The Young Community Leadership Award 

YCLAThe Young Community Leadership Award is an opportunity to volunteer in your local area, helping to clean up streets, parks or other areas, and achieve an award for your efforts, presented by the Mayor of Morpeth in July at a special celebration event.

In order to achieve a gold, silver or bronze award, you will need to do five, ten or fifteen hours of volunteer work picking up litter, bronze for 5 hours, silver for 10 hours and gold for 15 hours. You can go for gold or stop at the bronze level, it’s entirely up to you. If you choose to go for the gold award all your bronze and silver hours will count towards your total.

The award is being promoted by the Greater Morpeth Development Trust (GMDT) and is supported by the Mayor of Morpeth,

Once you have achieved your award, you can add this achievement to your CV, showing your dedication and commitment to your community. Northumberland County Council will provide you with equipment.

Northumberland Schools Golf Championships 2015

GolfThe 2015 Championships will be held at Prudhoe Golf Club on Monday 27 April 2015.

Any students interested in participating should submit their name, playing handicap and club name to Miss Najafi by Friday 17th April


  1. Under 18 Championship – boys with handicap scratch – 14 may enter. Competitors must be under 19 on 1st September 2015. (Best Gross Competition / Best Nett Competition)
  2. Under 16 Championship – boys with handicap scratch – 14 may enter. Competitors must be under 16 on 31st August 2015. (In year 10 or below – E.S.G.A ruling) (Best Gross Competition / Best Nett Competition)
  3. Girl’s Championshipgirls with handicap scratch – 18 may enter. (Best Gross Competition / Best Nett Competition) Girls may be nominated as team members in the Team Championship.
