Year 10 student, Seb Parreira, was in France over the Bank holiday weekend competing in a 24 hour kart race at Le Mans. Seb was part of a five-driver team, competing against other teams from the UK, Europe and the USA. The race took place on the Le Mans International circuit, which is a really fast track with average lap speeds of around 70 mph. After 1338 laps, 18 pit stops and some challenging mechanical issues late on, Seb took the chequered flag to give his team the Clubman class win and +2 laps up on the kart in second place!

Congratulations to Seb and the team on such a great result – can’t have been easy driving for 24 hours continuously!
