Our expectations are outlined below, these form the basis of ensuring students are able to feel safe and respected. Please spend time discussing these expectations with your child, talking about what this might look like in the classroom and around school. Spend some time with them reflecting on how well they met these expectations at their previous school and help them to understand the importance of making the right choices each day.

Everyone will act with courtesy and consideration at all times

  1. Do as you are asked by any staff – first time, every time

  2. Act with respect – use appropriate language and listen carefully when someone else is talking

  3. Work to the very best of your ability and allow others to do the same

  4. Arrive on time fully equipped and ready to work for every lesson

  5. Wear your school uniform correctly at all times

  6. Look after property and put litter in the bin

Students choosing not to follow these expectations will receive a negative comment in their planner. This could result in a detention being issued (24 hours notice will be given). Continued issues could result in a student spending time in bridging. Further details can be found in our behaviour policy.
